Xiaomi Pushes Battery Life to the Next Level
Xiaomi has officially introduced the Xiaomi 17T Pro, just three months after unveiling the Xiaomi 17 series. Despite the company’s unusually fast launch cycle, the new smartphone immediately grabbed attention thanks to its massive battery capacity and premium features.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro packs a huge 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, making it the largest battery ever featured in Xiaomi’s flagship lineup.

According to Xiaomi, the battery can last up to 1.88 days under typical usage, which translates to roughly 45 hours on a single charge. During testing, the device still had around 30 percent battery remaining after two days of gaming, photography, and app usage.
100W Fast Charging Delivers Impressive Speed
Xiaomi also equips the smartphone with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging technology.
The charging performance impressed reviewers during hands-on testing. The device reportedly charged from zero to 80 percent in around 20 minutes.
“I was able to get it from zero to 80 percent in about 20 minutes,” the reviewer wrote.
The combination of a large battery and ultra-fast charging makes the Xiaomi 17T Pro ideal for users with heavy daily workloads and mobile gaming habits.
Dimensity 9500 Keeps Performance Smooth
Under the hood, Xiaomi powers the 17T Pro with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in three storage variants: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
The device handles multitasking, gaming, and everyday tasks smoothly. Reviewers also mentioned that real-world performance feels nearly identical to the Xiaomi 17, which uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
Leica Camera System Brings Better Zoom Capability
Xiaomi upgrades the camera department with a Leica-branded triple-camera setup consisting of 50MP + 50MP + 12MP sensors. The system also supports 5x optical zoom.
Meanwhile, the front-facing camera features a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
“Overall the camera quality was similar to the one in the Xiaomi 17,” the report stated.
This marks the first time Xiaomi has added a 5x telephoto camera to its T-series lineup.
The camera captures detailed and natural-looking photos in daylight conditions. However, the system still struggles with strong light sources in dark environments, occasionally producing visible artifacts in night shots.
AMOLED Display Offers Bright and Smooth Visuals
The Xiaomi 17T Pro features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching 3,500 nits.
The screen delivers smooth animations, vibrant colors, and excellent outdoor visibility even under direct sunlight.
With its massive battery, fast charging, flagship-grade performance, and Leica camera system, the Xiaomi 17T Pro positions itself as one of the most attractive premium Android smartphones this year.
